In the 12th minute, Cristiano Messi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Brander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Kronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kronan's Vilhelm Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiril Biradzhiev in the 19th minute of play. Jaime Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Dalgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Valter Åkerman hit a great ball. Vilhelm Brander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Cristiano Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corinthians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilhelm Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Messi in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iván Urtzi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Cristiano Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corinthians were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Kronan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jiang Yi Chong took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jiang Yi Chong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vilhelm Brander quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 48thth minute of the game Ignacy Kinic who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kronan's Vilhelm Brander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Messi made a kick off. David Dalgren took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Almeida. Jaime Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Cristiano Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Vilhelm Brander made a huge save. Vilhelm Brander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Messi in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Dalgren in the 59th minute of play forced Corinthians's goalkeeper Jaime Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berke Yasık kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kronan's Valter Åkerman got a free kick in the 70th minute. Kronan's Nils Mikaelsson was substituted for David Dalgren. After 76 played minutes Kronan got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Quexal. Kronan made a substitution.
