But to his dismay, Macedonio Fonticoba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Hernandez in the 10th minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Brander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Macedonio Fonticoba notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Kronan's Vilhelm Brander. Vilhelm Brander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 51 minutes, Macedonio Fonticoba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vampiros Aztecas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Macedonio Fonticoba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Kronan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berke Yasık to maneuver through the defense. Vilhelm Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Weyand in the 77th minute of play. But to his dismay, Rolf Weyand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. With a little luck, Kronan's Vilhelm Brander got control of the ball when Thomas Verheydt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilhelm Brander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Verheydt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Weyand in the 95th minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vampiros Aztecas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
