Spectators: 7535 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 140) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dagoberto Neila made the kick off which started today's match. The Handsome Wizards UTD's Marcial Cisquella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Neila in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Estavan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Antonangeli. Claudio Antonangeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Claudio Antonangeli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcial Estavan. Claudio Antonangeli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Nikola Tesla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Marcial Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Antonangeli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Estavan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 30 minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcus Brady who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Nikola Tesla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Marcial Estavan did a great save. Marcial Cisquella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Warnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Cisquella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Neila's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Grant Groves hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Claudio Antonangeli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcial Estavan came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudio Antonangeli slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 39th minute. After 43 minutes of play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Herminio Iratze made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Cisquella was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Herminio Iratze notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of The Handsome Wizards UTD's Marcial Cisquella. Marcial Cisquella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Antonangeli was the one to do the kick off. Marcial Cisquella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Neila in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, The Handsome Wizards UTD's goalkeeper Marcial Cisquella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Iratze. Marcial Cisquella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herminio Iratze in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Herminio Iratze slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcial Cisquella. That made the score 3-3 after 56 minutes of play. In the 61st minute, Claudio Antonangeli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Estavan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Marcial Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Antonangeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcial Estavan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Milton Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 played minutes The Handsome Wizards UTD got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Bond. Marcial Cisquella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Neila in the 79th minute of the match. Claudio Antonangeli took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Estavan. Marcial Estavan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. Marcial Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Antonangeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, The Handsome Wizards UTD's Claudio Antonangeli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Estavan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-4. Kasey Bond hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
