Marcial Estavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Ooms in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Dagoberto Neila got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Herminio Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Orlan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Hunor Csapó when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcial Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franky Ooms, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Hunor Csapó successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th minute INDEPENDIENTE F.C. were awarded a corner. Omar Orlan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Omar Orlan to fire away a dangerous shot which Hunor Csapó despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Franky Ooms's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Estavan was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dagoberto Neila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Zbora got free with Marcial Estavan in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ignacio Warnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Warnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hunor Csapó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute, Franky Ooms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcial Estavan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orhan Ortanca kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Buffalo Timişoara's Călin Borogeanu was substituted for Ignacy Cerocki. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s zone, Adrian Zbora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Estavan came out of the goal and Adrian Zbora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Estavan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Benitez in the 73rd minute. Hunor Csapó came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Omar Orlan. But to his dismay, Omar Orlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buffalo Timişoara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Orlan was slow to take the kick. During this time INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Ignacio Warnes to fire away a dangerous shot which Hunor Csapó despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ignacio Warnes sped through Buffalo Timişoara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hunor Csapó. Călin Borogeanu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Benitez. There was no doubt that INDEPENDIENTE F.C. were the better team. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
