The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Chelsea's goalkeeper Comunardo Prandini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Real Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Turk to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Neila came free, but Comunardo Prandini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Gus Weir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Marcial Estavan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Comunardo Prandini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Neila in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Orlan in the 16th minute of play forced Real Chelsea's goalkeeper Comunardo Prandini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gus Weir came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Real Chelsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gus Weir couldn't finish the play. Domenico Rosato got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Herminio Iratze. After a rather tough play, Real Chelsea's Tony Domingues got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Neila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Comunardo Prandini. Real Chelsea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Neila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Milton Ramos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gus Weir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Marcial Estavan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Iratze came free, but Comunardo Prandini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a corner. Real Chelsea's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Orlan ran over to the corner to take the kick. 37 minutes into the game, Yngve Möller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Chelsea the free kick. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE F.C. getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Yngve Möller hit a great ball. Marcial Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gus Weir, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrick Panther who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice moves Gus Weir could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Marcial Estavan however easily saved by the left post. 46 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Neila came free, but Comunardo Prandini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute INDEPENDIENTE F.C. were awarded a corner. Omar Orlan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Omar Orlan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Chelsea's Comunardo Prandini did a great save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dagoberto Neila to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Dagoberto Neila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Prandini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gus Weir in the 54th minute of the match. Marcial Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Thorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Comunardo Prandini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Orlan in the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Neila in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Comunardo Prandini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Real Chelsea's Comunardo Prandini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Neila in the 64th minute of play. Omar Orlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Comunardo Prandini having to interfere. In the 67th minute of the match, Meng Qiang Liang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Comunardo Prandini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Patrick Panther hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Omar Orlan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Comunardo Prandini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Iratze got free with Comunardo Prandini in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gus Weir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marcial Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Chelsea made a substitution. Marty Harland replaced Patrick Panther. Marcial Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothy Thorne, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Herminio Iratze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Comunardo Prandini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Omar Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Chelsea's Barney Yeo was substituted for Malcolm Adcock. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
