Joel Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Uruguaiana's André Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Gomez in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Mattos in the 13th minute of play forced LACELESTEYBLANCA's goalkeeper Joel Omero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Uruguaiana got a corner. LACELESTEYBLANCA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorginho Britto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Uruguaiana's Luís Fabiano Mattos to a score. 0-1 in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Miguel Ramirez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving André Sena. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Sousa in the 23rd minute of play forced LACELESTEYBLANCA's goalkeeper Joel Omero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LACELESTEYBLANCA's Aureliano Odon managed to work through Uruguaiana's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aureliano Odon dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Miguel Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Víktor Catarinense hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Gomez came free, but André Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LACELESTEYBLANCA's Joel Omero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save LACELESTEYBLANCA from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Flávio Veloso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Omero, 3-2. LACELESTEYBLANCA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
