In the 24th minute Damien Korfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Margus Niilus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claudinei Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Peixotos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Harry Mik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to FUTEBOL ARTE getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Florentino Irrintzi hit a great ball. After 39 played minutes Leiden Spor Kulubu got a freekick which was hit by Hector Pello. In the 41st minute Yan Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Pello made a kick off. Vítor Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Mik having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Pirani in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Mik saved Leiden Spor Kulubu from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Vítor Peixoto made a precise shot to the right of Harry Mik. Leiden Spor Kulubu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The FUTEBOL ARTE fans cheered their team off the field, for while Leiden Spor Kulubu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
