The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thijs Nijhof during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano booed when Leiden Spor Kulubu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thijs Nijhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik got control of the ball when Narciso Iraido tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Joost de Zaaijer got a free kick in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Narciso Iraido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harry Mik. That made the score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 10th minute, Narciso Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Iraido's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Harry Mik firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 20th minute, one of Leiden Spor Kulubu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leiden Spor Kulubu. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Gerardo Bernebe got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Harry Mik. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Narciso Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot. lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Iraido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harry Mik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's zone, Freek Som stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquito Romero came out of the goal and Freek Som tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Narciso Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freek Som's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquito Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Narciso Iraidos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Harry Mik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Leiden Spor Kulubu's zone, Narciso Iraido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Mik came out of the goal and Narciso Iraido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Iraido got free with Harry Mik in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leiden Spor Kulubu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gerardo Bernebe was slow to take the kick. During this time lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's players had a chance to rest. Gerardo Bernebe made a great header on lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's corner, it was just that Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Iraido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harry Mik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Itzaina in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Teodosio Itzaina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Teodosio Itzaina took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Mik. Harry Mik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Hector Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's goalkeeper Chiquito Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Pello. 71 minutes into the match, Leiden Spor Kulubu's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Itzaina came free, but Harry Mik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play Leiden Spor Kulubu's Damien Korfs was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd match minute, Leiden Spor Kulubu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Korfs to maneuver through the defense. lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano made a substitution. Malik Mustafayev replaced Evaristo Erroman. After 73 played minutes Leiden Spor Kulubu got a freekick which was hit by Damien Korfs. Harry Mik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Iraido in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Mik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Iraido in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Mik saved Leiden Spor Kulubu from getting behind. Narciso Iraido might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Mik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Iraido ran back to his position shaking his head. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Iraido in the 83rd minute of play. Harry Mik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Iraido in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Vrieze came free, but Chiquito Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thijs Nijhof hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Harry Mik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Narciso Iraido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Harry Mik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
