Spectators: 7247 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Freek Som started the match with the kick off. Harry Mik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Dahlkvist in the 7th minute of play. Yasin Turabi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freek Som's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Harry Mik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muharrem Cihansah, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Leiden Spor Kulubu's Harry Mik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okanay Mutluer in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute Zygmunt Dropinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Zygmunt Dropinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Mik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Leiden Spor Kulubu's Hector Pello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Leiden Spor Kulubu's goal looked a bit too open when Okanay Mutluer came free, but Harry Mik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freek Som fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasin Turabi having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Ömür Paşa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GeNaReTioN NeXT and the Leiden Spor Kulubu players grew even worse after the yellow card. 37 minutes into the match, Leiden Spor Kulubu's goal looked a bit too open when Okanay Mutluer came free, but Harry Mik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When GeNaReTioN NeXT's Okanay Mutluer in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Dahlkvist in the 43rd minute of play forced Leiden Spor Kulubu's goalkeeper Harry Mik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute GeNaReTioN NeXT were awarded a corner. Ömür Paşa went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, GeNaReTioN NeXT's Muharrem Cihansah got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Okanay Mutluer made a kick off. With an all-out effort, GeNaReTioN NeXT's Harry Mik threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Okanay Mutluer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Harry Mik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muharrem Cihansah in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Leiden Spor Kulubu's zone, Okanay Mutluer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Mik came out of the goal and Okanay Mutluer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Folkert Engelaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yasin Turabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Okanay Mutluer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Mik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freek Som recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oskar Dahlkvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harry Mik could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freek Som in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yasin Turabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Folkert Engelaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yasin Turabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freek Som in the 93rd minute of play. Despite being the better team, GeNaReTioN NeXT failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
