With an all-out effort, Brda Przechlewo's Serbülent Baysan threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cezary Jajko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gilbert Sanocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Peake in the 6th minute of play. Brda Przechlewo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezary Jajko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Serbülent Baysan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC Anderlecht Huachipato from getting a goal against them. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Peake to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Zdrojowy came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Gilbert Sanocki throw himself and got hold of the ball when Victorino Peake in the 81stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brda Przechlewo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eufemio Ehijo was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Anderlecht Huachipato's players had a chance to rest. After 87 minutes of play FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alexandrino Gameiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alexandrino Gameiro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to Brda Przechlewo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zbigniew Niziolek hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Victorino Peake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Sanocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Eufemio Ehijo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilbert Sanocki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
