Diego Mon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Diego Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prosper Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Mon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led 1909 Tarnovia's Zenon Hetman to fire away a dangerous shot which Diego Mon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Grocholski in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Mon saved Vikingbeer FC from getting behind. In the 88th minute Prosper Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Prosper Vandamme came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the 1909 Tarnovia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prosper Vandamme couldn't finish the play. Diego Mon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Căliman in the 96th minute of the match. 2-5 became the score in the 97th minute when Alexandru Căliman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The 1909 Tarnovia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 1909 Tarnovia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
