A nice corner shot did that Laurids Hvenekilde got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Perrando Martínez Lamas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dirch Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mei Zhi Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John-Arne Riise was the one to do the kick off. Per Nørbjerg made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 51stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Perrando Martínez Lamas would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Victorio Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Victorio Oliverio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dirch Glerum. Dirch Glerum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilijano Kitanovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When John-Arne Riise fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hønning's protests and gave John-Arne Riise a yellow card for diving instead. Dirch Glerum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Hartz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LiBeRiA F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
