A collision led to RoBen FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Oskar Mallin hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, Sermet Tacal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Armin La Penna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lupere FC - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after RoBen FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo Paraense took the corner. Lupere FC - DMZ's Eduardo Paraense was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armin La Penna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frits Mosvad hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Telmo Valadares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 19 minutes, Sermet Tacal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sermet Tacal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the RoBen FC defense, Sermet Tacal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armin La Penna. The RoBen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armin La Penna should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Telmo Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Palle Ovengaard. Sermet Tacal scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armin La Penna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Vito da Silveira got a free kick in the 46th minute. Moritz Wihrs kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Lupere FC - DMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sermet Tacal to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Sermet Tacal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armin La Penna was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in RoBen FC's zone, Sermet Tacal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armin La Penna came out of the goal and Sermet Tacal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sermet Tacal got free with Armin La Penna in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, RoBen FC's Frits Mosvad got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Sermet Tacal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Sermet Tacal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armin La Penna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armin La Penna made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Sermet Tacal sent off a good shot on target. Armin La Penna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sermet Tacal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, one of RoBen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RoBen FC. RoBen FC's Asbjørn Alleshauge was substituted for Morgan Warsberg. Lupere FC - DMZ's Fabrício Jardel was substituted for Guto Moraes. RoBen FC's Armin La Penna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sermet Tacal in the 71st minute of play. Armin La Penna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sermet Tacal's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Lupere FC - DMZ's Sermet Tacal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th minute of the match, Sermet Tacal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armin La Penna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Armin La Penna came out of the goal and Alan das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Eduardo Paraense had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Palle Ovengaard charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Palle Ovengaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th match minute, RoBen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palle Ovengaard to maneuver through the defense.
