Holger Ettur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Hagemans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dosków SA's zone, Holger Ettur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Hagemans came out of the goal and Holger Ettur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Holger Ettur during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Pierońskie Hanysy's István Sipos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Tamulewicz in the 34th minute of play. Emanuel Hagemans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Ettur in the 41st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

FC Pierońskie Hanysy's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanni Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Hagemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
