Club Atlético Burzaco's Martin Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Riba in the 3rd minute of play. If Edwin Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Arnau in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Edwin Godholm made a precise shot to the right of Martin Celipe. Club Atlético Burzaco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Martin Celipe was a little too slow when Edwin Godholm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 20th minute of the match, Edwin Godholm got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martin Celipe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Club Atlético Burzaco's Martin Celipe got control of the ball when Edwin Godholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edwin Godholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Celipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Godholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Florian Cocca scored 3-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Celipe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Elias Dunixi in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Longobarda's Adriano Colantoni. Edwin Godholm in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin Celipe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute, Edwin Godholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Longobarda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Anthimos Vougas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Celipe. That made the score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Florian Cocca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Celipe. Club Atlético Burzaco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Cocca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. If Edwin Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Edwin Godholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Martin Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Longobarda's Florian Cocca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Celipe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Edwin Godholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Celipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Godholm ran back to his position shaking his head. When Edwin Godholm came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Longobarda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Godholm couldn't finish the play. Martin Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Godholm in the 63rd minute of play. Martin Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Godholm in the 65th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Longobarda got a freekick which was hit by Anthimos Vougas. If Edwin Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Teofilio's late challenge caught a Longobarda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Teofilio helped the player get up and apologised. Andres Teofilio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Martin Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Cherubini, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Edwin Godholm came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Longobarda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Godholm couldn't finish the play. The Longobarda fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Longobarda's Edwin Godholm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Longobarda's Davide Moscatelli was substituted for Adriano Colantoni. Club Atlético Burzaco's Felix Tabby was substituted for Nereo Sesuldo. Longobarda's Angelo Pezzi was substituted for Anthimos Vougas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Godholm in the 92nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Burzaco's goalkeeper Martin Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Dunixi made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andres Teofilio immediately put the ball in play. 96 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Burzaco's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Godholm came free, but Martin Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Longobarda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
