Júlio César made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Ling in the 4th minute of play. Dave Nash could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but David Seaman made a huge save. After 15 minutes of play, AD Oliveirense's 贺宽桦 made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Seaman was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfréd Fenyvessy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. David Seaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fu Ling in the 26th minute of play forced AD Oliveirense's goalkeeper Júlio César to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio César stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fu Ling's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes AD Oliveirense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victor Malmberg who took care of the corner kick. Linghed Angels FC's Victor Malmberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Júlio César in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Linghed Angels FC's David Seaman got control of the ball when Dave Nash tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32 minutes Linghed Angels FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabrício Baía who took care of the corner kick. AD Oliveirense's Fabrício Baía was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Seaman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Linghed Angels FC booed when AD Oliveirense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. 贺宽桦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Fu Ling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio César. AD Oliveirense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fu Ling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 40th minute Alfréd Fenyvessy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes, Fu Ling made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. AD Oliveirense's Júlio César tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After recieving a nice pass, AD Oliveirense's Fabrício Baía tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

With a little luck, AD Oliveirense's Júlio César got control of the ball when Fu Ling tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 52 played minutes AD Oliveirense got a freekick which was hit by Dave Nash. Fabrício Baía sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Linghed Angels FC's zone, Celedonio Berenguer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Seaman came out of the goal and Celedonio Berenguer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Linghed Angels FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Malmberg. If Dave Nash had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Melin got free with Júlio César in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Melin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Júlio César tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AD Oliveirense made a substitution. Marco Fonseca replaced Dave Nash. 71 minutes into the game, Martin Ødegaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Júlio César was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Seaman having to make a save. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linghed Angels FC's goalkeeper David Seaman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Linghed Angels FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Fynning to maneuver through the defense. Marco Espírito Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. After 95 played minutes, AD Oliveirense's Marco Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Seaman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AD Oliveirense reached it. In the 97th minute AD Oliveirense were awarded a corner. Fabrício Baía went to the cornerflag to take it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Linghed Angels FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
