Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's Remzi Oruz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Costel Ţintă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim-André van der Schans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costel Ţintă was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Luca Păun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scorpions -MM- and the Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Luca Păun got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remzi Oruz in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Zenga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remzi Oruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Zenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The referee showed Costel Ţintă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Aldo Tono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
