The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yanislav Vekovski during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, FC Kickerz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanislav Vekovski to maneuver through the defense. Dimcho Bobchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Bang Jun in the 17th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimcho Bobchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolgahan Onatkan in the 25th minute of the match. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Dimcho Bobchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Siqueira in the 29th minute of play. After 29 played minutes FC Kickerz got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Brandin. In the 30th minute of the match Ixona Mascarañas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimcho Bobchev skillfully saved the ball. Jens-Ove Malm might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimcho Bobchev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Ove Malm ran back to his position shaking his head. Amauri Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franco Prandini in the 34th minute. Lauro Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauro Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gu Bang Jun in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Marcos Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Siqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tolgahan Onatkan took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimcho Bobchev. Dimcho Bobchev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Ove Malm was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Kickerz's Gu Bang Jun got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jens-Ove Malm struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dimcho Bobchev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Verde F.C CIMZ. After 60 played minutes FC Kickerz got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Stenström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolgahan Onatkan in the 64th minute of play forced FC Kickerz's goalkeeper Dimcho Bobchev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gu Bang Jun came free, but Amauri Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Amauri Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Kilström in the 66th minute of play. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Kilström in the 70th minute of play. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after FC Kickerz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Siqueira took the corner. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dimcho Bobchev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Ted Eriksson fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kickerz's protests and gave Ted Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes FC Kickerz got a freekick which was hit by Ted Eriksson. 77 minutes into the game, Tolgahan Onatkan lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Dimcho Bobchev. In the 81st minute, Lauro Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yanislav Vekovski hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Dimcho Bobchev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcos Siqueira. In the 95th minute, Yanislav Vekovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Marcos Siqueira in the 96th minute really tested Dimcho Bobchev's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rio Verde F.C CIMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
