When Fidel Froila came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Amapola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Froila couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Uzuri in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Polidori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amapola's Ubaldo Uzuri got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to XMAS getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Christian Zaccardi hit a great ball. Fidel Froila's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando Polidori firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute, Amapola's Ubaldo Uzuri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armando Polidori. Armando Polidori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Segio in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 minutes XMAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Berart who took care of the corner kick. After 30 played minutes Amapola got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Bermudez. In the 32nd minute, Ferruccio Cesaroni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio De Nardis, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Armando Polidori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Uzuri went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ubaldo Uzuri to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Uzuri in the 57th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Amapola's Hugo Orlando Gatti got control of the ball when Ennio De Nardis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ubaldo Uzuri sped through XMAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Polidori. Ennio De Nardis charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ennio De Nardis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Ennio De Nardis got a free kick in the 66th minute. Fidel Froila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Polidori having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Uzuri came free, but Armando Polidori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Uzuri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Armando Polidori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Polidori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Froila went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Amapola made a substitution. Anibal Muc replaced Fidel Froila. When Ubaldo Uzuri came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Amapola fans jumped to their feet. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ubaldo Uzuri put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Polidori. Bianco Celli hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Armando Polidori didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Amapola's Anibal Muc shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the XMAS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Amapola.
