The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Hechter in the 3rd minute of play forced Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Elari Hirv who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waut Van Der Meeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elari Hirv in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Anversa Club getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Roman Procházka hit a great ball. Jass Villems made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Nestor Cruz sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Hechter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waut Van Der Meeren was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After the first half Capua Whitewolves were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicu Vornicu made a kick off. After 53 minutes Anversa Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hanung Sephtianda who took care of the corner kick. 57 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elari Hirv. In the 60th minute Hipolito Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Van Der Meeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waut Van Der Meeren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Hechter in the 62nd minute. Waut Van Der Meeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanung Sephtianda in the 64th minute of play. Edson Ventosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
