With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efraín Zercalde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Vornicu came free, but Efraín Zercalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Waut Van Der Meeren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Damian Posadzki mouthed his way into the referee's book. After 83 minutes LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mickael De Winter who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mickael De Winter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Efraín Zercalde quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mickael De Winter, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The LIRA ELBLĄG SSA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anversa Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Anversa Club.
