When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The referee ignored Laniakea's protests and gave Frode Nyheim a yellow card for diving instead. Frode Nyheim hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Manchester City made a substitution. Tommy Bedford replaced Dan Saville. In the 56th match minute, Laniakea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Sandbakken to maneuver through the defense. Frode Nyheim kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match.
