Independiente getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Melvin Ruffin hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yakov Abramov during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yakov Abramov hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Xu Yun Quan made a precise shot to the right of Erik Pihlblad. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Erik Pihlblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Marangoni in the 24th minute of play. But to his dismay, Kerry Sellers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sid Chadwick took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Pihlblad. Erik Pihlblad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Erik Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Yun Quan in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Kerry Sellers made a precise shot to the right of Erik Pihlblad. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerry Sellers in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Pihlblad saved Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club from getting behind. In the 47th minute, C. A. Independiente's Erberk Müftüoğlu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erberk Müftüoğlu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C. A. Independiente protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erberk Müftüoğlu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Erberk Müftüoğlu hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvarez Håland was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Sid Chadwick took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Erik Pihlblad to make any attempt to save it. If Claudio Marangoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xu Yun Quans short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Erik Pihlblad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 64 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Erik Pihlblad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xu Yun Quan. The crowd rose to their feet as Xu Yun Quan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Pihlblad. That made the score 0-7 in the 64 minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match, Xu Yun Quan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erik Pihlblad was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sid Chadwick struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Erik Pihlblad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Independiente. In the 71st minute, Xu Yun Quan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Pihlblad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Erik Pihlblad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Xu Yun Quan came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erik Pihlblad could save by the left post. A hard shot 77 in the game by Xu Yun Quan from a close distance when the talented Erik Pihlblad managed to make a qualified save. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's players were relieved. Erik Pihlblad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xu Yun Quan in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Yakov Abramov. C. A. Independiente made a substitution. Tomas Gustafson replaced Alfredo Felder. In the 86th minute, Yakov Abramov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sid Chadwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Erik Pihlblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerry Sellers to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Forbes in the 97th minute of play forced Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Erik Pihlblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Forbes came free, but Erik Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C. A. Independiente were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
