In the 7th minute Kerry Sellers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 彭钢昂 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Sellers in the 8th minute of play forced Oiteiras's goalkeeper 彭钢昂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C. A. Independiente fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when C. A. Independiente's Sid Chadwick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sid Chadwick in the 20th minute of play forced Oiteiras's goalkeeper 彭钢昂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Oiteiras's goal looked a bit too open when Kerry Sellers came free, but 彭钢昂 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kerry Sellers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Fernando Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 彭钢昂 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerry Sellers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Silas Magalhães. When C. A. Independiente's Xu Yun Quan came free and shot a quick shot against goal 59 minutes in the game, fortunately 彭钢昂 had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 彭钢昂 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerry Sellers, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 彭钢昂 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sid Chadwick in the 65th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Sid Chadwick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oiteiras's 彭钢昂 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 彭钢昂 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerry Sellers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Oiteiras's zone, Claudio Marangoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 彭钢昂 came out of the goal and Claudio Marangoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oiteiras's Börje Örtendahl was substituted for Narciso Tinoco. Oiteiras made a substitution. Amílton Pereira replaced Vágner Carioca. Oiteiras's 彭钢昂 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerry Sellers in the 74th minute of play. Claudio Marangoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 84 in the game by Kerry Sellers from a close distance when the talented 彭钢昂 managed to make a qualified save. Oiteiras's players were relieved. Amílton Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Silas Magalhães threw the ball into play from the sideline. C. A. Independiente's Sid Chadwick quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to C. A. Independiente getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Kerry Sellers hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, C. A. Independiente's Kerry Sellers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 彭钢昂. 彭钢昂 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5.
