Alexandro Gavilanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Horia Tătaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Alexandro Gavilanes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Preator Edikt's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Blomqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandro Gavilanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Stig-Ove Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Stig-Ove Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
