When Miguel Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Auriolam II C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Godoy couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Mathieu Schophuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesc Balmaseda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otto Zuidam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Otto Zuidam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Godoy came free, but Otto Zuidam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes Springplank FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabri Gutierrez who took care of the corner kick. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Springplank FC's goalkeeper Otto Zuidam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Tuhuteru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Rubén Urruti made a huge save. The throw-in from Tião Beckenbauer in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Auriolam II C.F.'s Gabri Gutierrez. With an all-out effort, Springplank FC's Rubén Urruti threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ferdi Reis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Reis in the 32nd minute of play forced Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Rubén Urruti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Tuhuteru came free, but Rubén Urruti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Marcus Tuhuteru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Springplank FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Auriolam II C.F.'s Gabri Gutierrez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tião Beckenbauer in the 36 minute of the game. When Auriolam II C.F.'s Miguel Godoy in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Godoy in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Springplank FC's Tião Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Godoy was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Springplank FC booed when Auriolam II C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelayo Porrata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Gigas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Pelayo Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Isidoro Gimenez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auriolam II C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Springplank FC the free kick. The supporters of Springplank FC booed when Auriolam II C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubén Urruti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Reis in the 69th minute of play. Otto Zuidam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Godoy in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Reis came free, but Rubén Urruti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Godoy took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otto Zuidam. Otto Zuidam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Auriolam II C.F.'s Jesús Perera was substituted for Miguel Godoy. 92 minutes into the match, Jesús Perera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Otto Zuidam, 1-2. In the 94th minute, Isidoro Gimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Auriolam II C.F. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
