In the 5th minute Mădălin Cangeopol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunvald Glarkrog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Sneijder in the 13th minute of play. Laurențiu Gaciu made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Andres Oper sent off a good shot on target. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Laurențiu Gaciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Tractorul Satulung -MM- from getting a goal against them. After 19 minutes, Wesley Sneijder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tractorul Satulung -MM- and the Strib Galacticos IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tractorul Satulung -MM-! When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Strib Galacticos IF's Davide Ubriaco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Laurențiu Gaciu. Andres Oper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Laurențiu Gaciu made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Xiong Han came free, but Laurențiu Gaciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wesley Sneijder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunvald Glarkrog having to interfere. A hard shot by Davide Ubriaco from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Laurențiu Gaciu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mircea Mihele hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Oper to make the kick off. A well-hit corner resulted in Wesley Sneijder heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mădălin Cangeopol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Zhao Xiong Han left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strib Galacticos IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Strib Galacticos IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Heintje Gamarra was slow to take the kick. During this time Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Strib Galacticos IF's goalie and right to Wesley Sneijder. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Strib Galacticos IF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 66th minute, Damaso Ubelteso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Strib Galacticos IF from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Strib Galacticos IF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Sivart Djursgård hit a great ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Sonni Engklint was substituted for Asım Arif Akatay. In the 76th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivart Djursgård to maneuver through the defense. Gunvald Glarkrog made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Mădălin Cangeopol sent off a good shot on target. Gunvald Glarkrog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 80th minute. Laurențiu Gaciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Xiong Han, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Sneijder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gunvald Glarkrog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Damaso Ubelteso got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
