Sean Dekker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Periklis Zorbadelos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sean Dekker in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Periklis Zorbadelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Green Horses's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Controller Junel was slow to take the kick. During this time AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Benedito Duarte to a score. 3-1 in the 20th minute. After 28 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Gerasimos Iakovatos. In the 30th minute, Gerasimos Iakovatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferit Boğatekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Notis Bartzokas in the 35th minute of the match. Ponciano Olea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 44 minutes into the match, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Bartzokas came free, but Ferit Boğatekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ralf Kück hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Notis Bartzokas made a kick off. Ferit Boğatekin stood somewhat misplaced when Notis Bartzokas came free in front of goal and shot 4-2 to the left of him in the 56 minute. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Ralf Kück suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Notis Bartzokas fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Horses's protests and gave Notis Bartzokas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ booed when Green Horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Notis Bartzokas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Rahmad Lunggana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Ferit Boğatekin came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Horses's Notis Bartzokas. But to his dismay, Notis Bartzokas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Periklis Zorbadelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Dekker in the 73rd minute of the match. Ferit Boğatekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Notis Bartzokas in the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Gu Guang Cheng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Periklis Zorbadelos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferit Boğatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Markatos in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Gu Guang Cheng notched a goal, 8-3, to the right of Green Horses's Periklis Zorbadelos. Periklis Zorbadelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Green Horses players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ.
