Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Filip Soetemans kicked off to start the match. Otto Zuidam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Soetemans's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Springplank FC's goalkeeper Otto Zuidam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Fenerbahce ISTANBUL got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Henriksson. 12 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's goal looked a bit too open when Mevlüt Naşit came free, but Hu Jian Zhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Soetemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. But to his dismay, Ye Xiang Zheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Jairo Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Soetemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Soetemans in the 25th minute of play. Hu Jian Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mevlüt Naşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otto Zuidam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Soetemans in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Soetemans in the 32nd minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Otto Zuidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Filip Soetemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Zuidam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Hu Jian Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Reis in the 36th minute of play. Hu Jian Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mevlüt Naşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mevlüt Naşit made the kick off in the second half. Filip Soetemans had several of the Springplank FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 51 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Otto Zuidam as he didn't even see the shot coming. Battal Seyyit Asır made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jairo Lauaxeta. In the 58thth minute of the game Filip Soetemans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Filip Soetemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otto Zuidam having to make a save. Otto Zuidam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Lauaxeta in the 65th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Stasio Drzewucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mevlüt Naşit did an outstanding performance 79 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-2 to the right of an irritated Hu Jian Zhan in the goal. With a little luck, Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam got control of the ball when Filip Soetemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jairo Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Zuidam having to interfere. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Hu Jian Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mevlüt Naşit in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ye Xiang Zheng got free with Otto Zuidam in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freek Reitsema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Soetemans might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otto Zuidam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Soetemans ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam got control of the ball when Filip Soetemans tried to sneak it across the goal line.
