K.F.MALIQI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo 11 the free kick. In the 17th minute, Daut Isai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes San Lorenzo 11's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Csaba Fodor who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Bucciarelli got free with Dmitriy Chkalov in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Juvenal dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dmitriy Chkalov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quilo Lujarra in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Ankaios Garofalis came free, but Aurelio Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
