Kacper Trochowski started the match with the kick off. Lucjan Malewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 9th minute of play forced chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Adriano Pappalardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Abel de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Pappalardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of chacarita juniors booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Trochowski in the 12th minute of play. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Ospin in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 20th minute of play forced chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Adriano Pappalardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Olivedos's Abel de Godoi in the 25th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Adriano Pappalardo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for chacarita juniors through an amazing save. Abel de Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Pappalardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Olivedos were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after chacarita juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisinho Ceresso took the corner. In the 30th minute, Cássio Ferraz made a precise shot to the right of Adriano Pappalardo. chacarita juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. chacarita juniors's Adriano Pappalardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save chacarita juniors from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Olivedos's Cássio Ferraz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriano Pappalardo. That made the score 3-0 after 33 minutes of play. Nestor Abilio struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Abelardo Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for chacarita juniors. In the 37th match minute, chacarita juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Malewicz to maneuver through the defense. Luisinho Ceresso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Adriano Pappalardo made a huge save. Adriano Pappalardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Ferraz in the 40th minute. Abelardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Ospin in the 42nd minute of play. Lucjan Malewicz lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 42nd minute, one of chacarita juniors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for chacarita juniors. Adriano Pappalardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Olivedos's Rômulo Custódio was substituted for Osvaldinho Veiga. The wind increased when Abel de Godoi made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Ospin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Abelardo Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for chacarita juniors. When Abel de Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Olivedos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel de Godoi couldn't finish the play. Adriano Pappalardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Ferraz in the 62nd minute of play. Rubinho Chaves hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, chacarita juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Tipi to maneuver through the defense. After 72 minutes of play, Olivedos's Cássio Ferraz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adriano Pappalardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 76th minute of play forced chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Adriano Pappalardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel de Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adriano Pappalardo having to make a save. Adriano Pappalardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 83rd minute of play. After 86 minutes chacarita juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisinho Ceresso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Olivedos's Cássio Ferraz to fire away a dangerous shot which Adriano Pappalardo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abel de Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Pappalardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel de Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Adriano Pappalardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel de Godoi in the 91st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel de Godoi in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Pappalardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the chacarita juniors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olivedos.
