Jailson Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 36th minute of the match. Luo Feng hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With his leg Ernesto Merexildo managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when AVAÍ F.C.'s Walmyr Salles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

2-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Alex Sági elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 55 played minutes AVAÍ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Cabral. Ernesto Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Salles in the 57th minute of the match. Walmyr Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AVAÍ F.C.'s Jailson Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save AVAÍ F.C. from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walmyr Salles in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jailson Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Bidari in the 84th minute of the match. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution.
