Rudolf Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Bartoleme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Golden Volvió!'s Angelo Zinni couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Finninge Fotboll. 23 minutes into the match, Finninge Fotboll's Germán Kanø sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodosio Nuxila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute David Bartoleme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Åberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amancio Bertin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolf Åberg was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The supporters of El Golden Volvió! booed when Finninge Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position.
