The wind increased when Elizardo Massana made the kick off in the second half. Oliverio Cavallosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Åberg having to interfere. Oliverio Cavallosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Åberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play.
