After taking down the ball on AVAÍ F.C.'s corner Luiz Pombal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ismael de Queiroz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Luiz Pombal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael de Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th match minute, Pragmáticos 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Erivaldo da Cunha hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Luiz Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ismael de Queiroz made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Kaká Fenomeno got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jailson Teles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ismael de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Sági went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Vito Furlan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Alegría during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Figueroa charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
