Deivid De Souza hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 6th minute of play forced AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Cavalcante in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Eliézer Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Divina Comédia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliézer Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Zhuang Shi Ting had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Meriç Özsen. Eliézer Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Taffarel having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, AKÇEŞMESPOR's Deivid De Souza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhuang Shi Ting was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Zhuang Shi Ting had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Meriç Özsen. With his leg Zhuang Shi Ting managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when AKÇEŞMESPOR's Meriç Özsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Cavalcante in the 30th minute of play forced AKÇEŞMESPOR's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Divina Comédia FC's corner Silvinho Mangueira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cláudio Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. Zhuang Shi Ting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahir Pınarbaşı in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of AKÇEŞMESPOR booed when Divina Comédia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Meriç Özsen in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhuang Shi Ting saved Divina Comédia FC from getting behind. Tahir Pınarbaşı kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Berto Monta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuang Shi Ting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhuang Shi Ting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedrich Nietzsche in the 41st minute of play. Divina Comédia FC's Zhuang Shi Ting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Divina Comédia FC from getting a goal against them. Zhuang Shi Ting made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Meriç Özsen sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Meriç Özsen to make the kick off. Zhuang Shi Ting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tahir Pınarbaşı in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Berto Monta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKÇEŞMESPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divina Comédia FC the free kick. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when AKÇEŞMESPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berto Monta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Friedrich Nietzsche came free, but Zhuang Shi Ting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Divina Comédia FC's Zhuang Shi Ting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Özsen in the 59th minute of play. Zhuang Shi Ting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid De Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tahir Pınarbaşı came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the AKÇEŞMESPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tahir Pınarbaşı couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tahir Pınarbaşı in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhuang Shi Ting saved Divina Comédia FC from getting behind.
