An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Gonçalves in the 10th minute of play forced Blue Masters's goalkeeper Jonas Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Walmir Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jonas Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Masters's zone, Eliseu Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Prestes came out of the goal and Eliseu Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's Josué Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonas Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Saiko FC's Josué Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Blue Masters's Jonas Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Bati in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Saiko FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eliseu Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Jonas Prestes made a huge save. Jonas Prestes was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Josué Gonçalves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josué Gonçalves really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Eliseu Fonseca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Jonas Prestes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Saiko FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 94th minute of the game, when Décio Dionísio after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Blue Masters's goal. Décio Dionísio was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal.
