When Gilesindo Tarapiella came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Caaguazu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilesindo Tarapiella couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Mogel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilesindo Tarapiella during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 19 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mogel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olo Uriarte. Caaguazu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Mogel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Cresconio in the 25th minute of play. Caaguazu's Jorge Torcida got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The throw-in from Gaitan Casado in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Caaguazu's Jorge Torcida. After 38th play minutes Emanuel Mogel shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Olo Uriarte and just under the crossbar into goal. Olo Uriarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Mogel in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

50 minutes into the game, Nando Cando threw the ball into play from the sideline. Quebrachitos FC's Anacleto Sendoa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Oscar Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Cresconio in the 53rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Cresconio in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Ekhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Barca in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when Quebrachitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitan Casado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Torcida could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Oscar Ekhi however easily saved by the left post. Quebrachitos FC's Enrique Neron was substituted for Valentin Sandaili. In the 70th match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaitan Casado to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilesindo Tarapiella came free, but Oscar Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olo Uriarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Mogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Torcida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Ekhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Emanuel Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olo Uriarte having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Gabriel Labiada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quebrachitos FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
