The supporters of Stardrust booed when Caaguazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Vellon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Gaspar Brito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olo Uriarte skillfully saved the ball. Răzvan Uncheşu made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Malvin Vidaurre sent off a good shot on target. Răzvan Uncheşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolome Moracia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Flávio Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reyes Barcenilla to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match Gaspar Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olo Uriarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Torcida scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Răzvan Uncheşu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Malvin Vidaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball had pretty good speed, but Răzvan Uncheşu firmly grabbed it by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flávio Cortez made a kick off. If Jorge Torcida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Răzvan Uncheşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Torcida, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Caaguazu's Jorge Torcida got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Jorge Torcida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Uncheşu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Uncheşu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Torcida in the 55th minute of play. Reyes Barcenilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Uncheşu having to interfere. Jorge Torcida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Răzvan Uncheşu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malvin Vidaurre in the 67th minute of play forced Stardrust's goalkeeper Răzvan Uncheşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolome Moracia made a great header on Caaguazu's corner, it was just that Stardrust's Răzvan Uncheşu managed to reach the ball for a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reyes Barcenilla couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Jorge Torcida sped through Stardrust's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Răzvan Uncheşu.
