The Santoryu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercole Carnevale should have stopped the shot. Cícero Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Grzelak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Elia Strano hit a great ball. When Jones Cudmore came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the SC Otten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jones Cudmore couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Grzelak in the 16th minute of play forced SC Otten's goalkeeper Cícero Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ture Arenius in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ercole Carnevale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Romano in the 26th minute of play forced SC Otten's goalkeeper Cícero Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SC Otten's Norman Ackermann in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cícero Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cesare Romano made the kick off in the second half. Ercole Carnevale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ture Arenius's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Cesare Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cícero Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Ackermann in the 58th minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Santoryu FC's Grzegorz Grzelak got a free kick in the 62nd minute. SC Otten's Pankracy Setara was substituted for Ture Arenius. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Santoryu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Grzelak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Pankracy Setara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Carnevale was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ercole Carnevale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Setara in the 68th minute of the match. Santoryu FC made a substitution. Dennis Nero replaced Teodoro Chale. Ercole Carnevale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Ackermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 79 minutes of play, SC Otten's Fotis Mantzouranas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ercole Carnevale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ercole Carnevale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Mantzouranas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute SC Otten were awarded a corner. Cícero Proença was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dennis Nero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 94 minute of play.
