Ramon Saelman was slow to take the kick. During this time The Dalwhinnie Boys's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on The Dalwhinnie Boys's corner Ramon Saelman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paul Heyckendorf quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirko Blank in the 27th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Zuidema hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Saelman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Mansilha in the 30th minute of play forced The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Harm Rooy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mirko Blank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ger Mols in the 53rd minute of play. Academica Pulheim's Maxime Vrints was substituted for Lutz Golke. In the 57th minute of the match Academica Pulheim got a corner. The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Mansilha ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zbigniew Setara took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harm Rooy. Harm Rooy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Academica Pulheim's Roberto Seppmann was substituted for Reinhard Baum. With his leg Harm Rooy managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Academica Pulheim's Zbigniew Setara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Zbigniew Setara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harm Rooy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Mansilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Alex Mansilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harm Rooy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Academica Pulheim's Maxime Vrints slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Harm Rooy. That made the score 0-4 after 78 minutes of play. Bruno Zuidema struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Paul Heyckendorf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Dalwhinnie Boys. The supporters of The Dalwhinnie Boys booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Academica Pulheim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
