Camillo Malatesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Gaskon Gimeno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camillo Malatesta. Gaskon Gimeno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. When Henric Villaquiran came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Picanya FC fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregory Bermejo in the 40th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Camillo Malatesta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Picanya FC got a corner. Fiume Veneto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henric Villaquiran ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Picanya FC's corner Henric Villaquiran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Camillo Malatesta quite easily take care of the ball. Camillo Malatesta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henric Villaquiran in the 44th minute. Henric Villaquiran succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Fiume Veneto's Arturo Passerini got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fiume Veneto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 73rd minute, Gaskon Gimeno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Picanya FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. The supporters of Fiume Veneto booed when Picanya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldovino Saura didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Picanya FC fully deserved thier win.
