Wilson do Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magno Braga came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilson do Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magno da Costa in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Eladio struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Edgard de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milanis E.C.. Edgard de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Martins in the 23rd minute of play. If Reinaldo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgard de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jorge Sá hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Medeiros came free, but Magno Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Magno da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Magno Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Medeiros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Magno Braga came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulão Medeiros slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Bernardo Eladio made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Paulão Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Magno Braga. Milanis E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Montesclarense E.C.'s Edgard de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno da Costa in the 57th minute of play. Edgard de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno da Costa in the 58th minute of the match. Montesclarense E.C.'s André Luís Schmidt was substituted for Paulão Medeiros. Wilson do Nascimento hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Joaquim Koehler got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Franz Beckenbauer came free, but Edgard de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Eger in the 75th minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Magno Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno da Costa in the 77th minute of play. André Luís Schmidt took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magno Braga. Magno Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 84thth minute of the game André Luís Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milanis E.C.'s Magno Braga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Magno Braga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Eger went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Wilson do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magno Braga. Milanis E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Gonçalo Diniz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
