With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fonso Zotillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Bladi in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Big Babousa's Hector Bladi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fonso Zotillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute Severino Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetlozar Karamihov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Montoia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Fonso Zotillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by XV de Piracicaba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dario Costante was slow to take the kick. During this time Big Babousa's players had a chance to rest. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Jurdan made a kick off. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Dario Costante hit a great ball. Big Babousa's Svetlozar Karamihov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Big Babousa from getting a goal against them. Hector Bladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fonso Zotillo having to make a save. Big Babousa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of XV de Piracicaba for a fine match.
