When XV de Piracicaba's Fábio Montoia in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bashar Al Azra in the 32nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Akram Munahid sped through XV de Piracicaba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fonso Zotillo. After 38 played minutes XV de Piracicaba got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Montoia. Hisham Abdul Nasser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Capixaba, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dirar Rashid to make the kick off. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akram Munahid in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Bashar Al Azra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fonso Zotillo. XV de Piracicaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bashar Al Azra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bashar Al Azra in the 61st minute of the match. Líbano's Hisham Abdul Nasser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Líbano from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Líbano's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Capixaba came free, but Hisham Abdul Nasser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Akram Munahid came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lotfi El Makhtoub scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fonso Zotillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akram Munahid in the 83rd minute of the match. Fonso Zotillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bashar Al Azra in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute Lotfi El Makhtoub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fonso Zotillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fonso Zotillo came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Líbano's Bashar Al Azra. But to his dismay, Bashar Al Azra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Líbano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
