Sofyane Valognes was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Olimpiu Rizea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olimpiu Rizea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Vali Maghiar took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Martin Crușeveanu took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sofyane Valognes to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Olimpiu Rizea sped through Rathmore Lime Tree's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Manea in the 22nd minute of play. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Rathmore Lime Tree from getting a goal against them. After having played for 26 minutes, Olimpiu Rizea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Politehnica Timisoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Rizea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Vali Maghiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofyane Valognes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olimpiu Rizea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 29 minute of play. A collision led to Rathmore Lime Tree getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bakary Guinaudeau hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Rathmore Lime Tree defense, Olimpiu Rizea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofyane Valognes. The Rathmore Lime Tree fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofyane Valognes should have stopped the shot. In the 36th minute, Grégory Castello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Dufrenne didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Crușeveanu in the 38th minute of play forced Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Rathmore Lime Tree got a freekick which was hit by Honoré Villot. Ernest Manea charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernest Manea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, FC Politehnica Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Manea to maneuver through the defense. Ernest Manea came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sofyane Valognes could save by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olimpiu Rizea made a kick off. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Politehnica Timisoara's Vali Maghiar. But to his dismay, Vali Maghiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Olimpiu Rizea took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 61 minutes into the game, Fan Wen Nan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Sofyane Valognes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute Olimpiu Rizea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofyane Valognes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofyane Valognes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Crușeveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Benoît Lamarre kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ernest Manea took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sofyane Valognes. Sofyane Valognes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Vali Maghiar hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. FC Politehnica Timisoara walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
