Spectators: 7624 (Terracing: 5719, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) FC ANC's Måns Kjellman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Måns Kjellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Artemio Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima made a huge save. After 12 minutes Pombal 2003 F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anıl Akdoruk who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Anıl Akdoruk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fabiano de Lima quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Zieba, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Luiz Fabiano de Lima came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FC ANC's Måns Kjellman. But to his dismay, Måns Kjellman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 27th minute Dino Petricca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Måns Kjellman notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima. Luiz Fabiano de Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 33 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Måns Kjellman came free, but Luiz Fabiano de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Quiroga in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, FC ANC's Måns Kjellman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Dalimil Kylar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, FC ANC's Måns Kjellman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fabiano de Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manole Bordeanu struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Luiz Fabiano de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ANC. In the 43rd minute, Michel Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Pombal 2003 F.C. defense, Dino Petricca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fabiano de Lima. The Pombal 2003 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fabiano de Lima should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Di Yuan Liang to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Betão Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pombal 2003 F.C. and the FC ANC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Betão Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Kjellman in the 61st minute of play. Luiz Fabiano de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Pombal 2003 F.C. made a substitution. Giovani Furlan replaced Hermínio Moraes. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pombal 2003 F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Luiz Fabiano de Lima had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Dino Petricca's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Giovani Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Martin Tudor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Kjellman in the 75th minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC ANC's Artemio Quiroga got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Pombal 2003 F.C. were awarded a corner. Giovani Furlan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Giovani Furlan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC ANC's Martin Tudor did a great save. When Måns Kjellman came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the FC ANC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Måns Kjellman couldn't finish the play. Dino Petricca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC ANC had won after a very even match.
