In the 6thth minute of the game Emerson Jacaré who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flores da Cunha - RS's Ismael Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Xurupita FC's corner Albertinho de Amaral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ismael Mendes quite easily take care of the ball. When Xurupita FC's Albertinho de Amaral in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flores da Cunha - RS's goalie prevented a goal. Flores da Cunha - RS's Ismael Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilian Vântu in the 10th minute of play. If Reginaldo Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Jacaré in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Célio Maranhense hit a great ball. Reginaldo Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Emerson Jacaré made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Mendes. Flores da Cunha - RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 24thth minute of the game Albertinho de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flores da Cunha - RS's Ismael Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Maranhense in the 31st minute of play forced Flores da Cunha - RS's goalkeeper Ismael Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flores da Cunha - RS's Ismael Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lilian Vântu in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Tarcisio Cordeiro got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Xurupita FC's Emerson Jacaré in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ismael Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Reginaldo Ceresso made the kick off in the second half. Xurupita FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emerson Jacaré in the 52nd minute. Xurupita FC's Emerson Jacaré was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Mendes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The corner led to Xurupita FC's Albertinho de Amaral getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 57th minute, Tarcisio Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Artur Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flores da Cunha - RS's protests and gave Artur Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Xurupita FC booed when Flores da Cunha - RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Jacaré. Ismael Mendes made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Célio Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Jacaré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flores da Cunha - RS's Ismael Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Flores da Cunha - RS from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Emerson Jacaré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flores da Cunha - RS's Ismael Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Flores da Cunha - RS from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Xurupita FC's Célio Maranhense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Mendes. That made the score 0-5 after 83 minutes of play. Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Aguero in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Flores da Cunha - RS's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Jacaré came free, but Ismael Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xurupita FC played a much better game than Flores da Cunha - RS and deserved their victory. The Flores da Cunha - RS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
