The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wiktor Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Freddie in the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 played minutes MKS Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Bazan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samet Ergökmen during the 8th minute. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Alfred Naumowicz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ergün Şener but with some difficulty. A collision led to NoWayOut getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lauro Argandoña hit a great ball. Clodoveo Ponce had several of the NoWayOut's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ergün Şener as he didn't even see the shot coming. NoWayOut made a substitution. Vilgot Rang replaced Samet Ergökmen. Wiktor Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Freddie in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Frédson Freddie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The nice shot from Clodoveo Ponce in the 39thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ergün Şener had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

NoWayOut's Ergün Şener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Rzegotka in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Ignacy Rzegotka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergün Şener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ergün Şener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacy Rzegotka, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zülfü Yalazay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiktor Dudkowski having to make a save. Ergün Şener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NoWayOut succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though MKS Pogoń Szczecin had controlled the match.
