The MKS Pogoń Szczecin fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Clodoveo Ponce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of MKS Pogoń Szczecin booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmail Orhun Aktaşoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Li Xu Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Li Xu Cheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Clodoveo Ponce put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Müfit Tolgahan. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Clodoveo Ponce struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Müfit Tolgahan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Pogoń Szczecin. Thanks to some nice moves Clodoveo Ponce could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Müfit Tolgahan however easily saved by the left post. Ignacy Rzegotka took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Müfit Tolgahan. Müfit Tolgahan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 62nd minute, Ignacy Rzegotka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Müfit Tolgahan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 64 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goalkeeper Müfit Tolgahan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Ponce. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Ignacy Rzegotka got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Radomir Bazan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Müfit Tolgahan. Müfit Tolgahan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Kandemir Uluhan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of MKS Pogoń Szczecin booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağızhan Acıbadem didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Samsunspor's goalkeeper Müfit Tolgahan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Ponce. Ovando Vera might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Müfit Tolgahan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovando Vera ran back to his position shaking his head. After 81 minutes of play, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Radomir Bazan made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Müfit Tolgahan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Ovando Vera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MKS Pogoń Szczecin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. In the 87th minute, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Radomir Bazan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. After 90th play minutes Clodoveo Ponce shot 0-13, a short shot which went by Müfit Tolgahan and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 93rd minute, Li Xu Cheng reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Müfit Tolgahan. The goal made the score 0-14.
